About us

Who we are

Our mission is to foster resilience and self-sufficiency, ensuring that every family and individual has access to the resources needed to build a successful future in the United States.

Sudanese Help Organization (SHO) was founded as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to support immigrant and refugee communities, particularly those from Sudan, Somalia, and other African and Latino backgrounds. We are committed to fostering an inclusive environment that emphasizes cultural understanding, community development, and personal empowerment.

Our approach

Our Mission
Our mission is to ensure that every individual and family in our community receives the support they need when they need it, no matter the challenge.

Whether it’s guidance through a new culture, assistance with basic needs, access to education and job training, or simply a compassionate presence, Sudanese Help Organization is here to provide timely, personalized support, empowering everyone to build a brighter future.

Our Vision
We envision a world where no individual feels isolated, and everyone has immediate access to the support they need to thrive.

Our goal is to create communities where each person, regardless of background, can easily reach out for help with education, employment, and essential resources. By expanding our reach, we aim to be accessible to all, empowering individuals and families to build fulfilling, hopeful lives.
